Fellow Horizon Air Pilots,
Teamsters stand in full solidarity with our union brothers and sisters represented by the Association of Flight Attendants (AFA) here at Horizon as they enter federal mediation in their fight for a fair contract.
Flight attendants are the face of the airline industry. They work tirelessly on the front lines to ensure the safety, comfort, and dignity of every passenger on every flight. Yet, too often, their dedication is met with corporate stalling and disregard at the bargaining table.
As Teamsters, we know firsthand the strength and resolve it takes to stand up for what’s right in this industry. We support the AFA’s efforts to secure the pay, protections, and respect their members have earned. Mediation should not be used as a delay tactic—it must be a meaningful step toward achieving a contract that reflects the value flight attendants bring to their airlines every day.
To the members of AFA: You are not alone. Your fight is our fight. We are with you—in word and in action—as you push forward in this critical phase of negotiations. Solidarity is our power, and together, we will win.
